Below are the general terms and conditions of KEK Amsterdam, established in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Betuwestraat 25, 1079 PR) and having its office in Naarden, the Netherlands (Kobaltstraat 16A, 1411 AM), and registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under no. 34375428.
Dutch law applies to all commercial activities of KEK Amsterdam. By placing an order with KEK Amsterdam, you automatically agree to the following General Terms and Conditions:
Prices
The stated consumer prices are in euros (including VAT), excluding shipping costs. Orders from € 50 within the Netherlands and Belgium are shipped free of charge. The shipping costs for the Netherlands amount to € 1.95 and for Belgium € 5.95 for orders under € 50. KEK Amsterdam reserves the right to change prices at any time.
Delivery and delivery times
The delivery time for all non-woven wallpaper (160 grams) and Hotel Chique Textile (made-to-measure only) is 3 to 5 working days. This is because we do not keep this wallpaper in stock; it is produced exclusively to order. As soon as the package has left our premises, you will receive the track & trace link by email. This may end up in your spam folder. Shipping is via PostNL, GLS, or FedEx.
We generally have the wallpaper from the Hotel Chique and Natural Chique collections in stock. If you order this wallpaper before 9:30 PM, it is usually shipped the same day via DHL.
Payment
After payment of your order, KEK Amsterdam will start processing it. Various payment methods are offered.
Privacy
KEK Amsterdam respects the privacy of its customers and will therefore never disclose personal data to third parties, unless it is in the interest of the delivery of the wallpaper. KEK Amsterdam uses the services of Mollie B.V. as a payment service provider. Data in that context may be shared with this party. Click here for the full privacy statement.
Colours
Colours on screen
We strive to display the colors of the wallpaper as realistically as possible. However, the colour may differ slightly from the actual product colour. This is due to the way color and light intensity are set on your phone, tablet, or computer. If you are unsure about the colour, we advise you to order a wallpaper sample first.
Colours on wallpaper samples
Very occasionally, the colour on a wallpaper sample may differ slightly from the wallpaper you ultimately receive. This is because the samples and the wallpaper are not produced at the same time.
Liability
KEK Amsterdam cannot be held liable in any way for possible damage to a wall or other surface after, during, or as a result of the application or removal of a KEK Amsterdam product. Furthermore, KEK Amsterdam cannot be held liable in any way for possible costs incurred by a professional wallpapering company or an independent wallpaperer hired by the customer for the application of this wallpaper.
Returns
As a consumer, you always have the right to return your order within 30 days of receiving your package, without providing any reason. The return address is: KEK Amsterdam, Returns Department, Nering Bögelweg 123, 7418 HJ Deventer, The Netherlands. We request that you include the packing slip with your package, or a note with your name and bank account number (IBAN), so that we can refund the purchase amount to you within a week once we have received the products in good condition. The shipping costs for the return are at your own expense. The right of return does not apply to custom-made wallpaper, as this product has been made to measure specifically for you.
If you have ordered multiple rolls of one type of wallpaper, only rolls that are still sealed may be returned. You may, of course, open the first roll to assess the color and quality.
Complaints
We work with great suppliers who, just like us, always strive for the best quality and service. Nevertheless, it can happen that something goes wrong during the production or packing process. Please send us an email as soon as possible (within 2 days) with a description of your complaint, plus a few clear photos (preferably a close-up photo and a photo taken from a distance). This will allow us to properly assess your complaint and immediately take it up with the relevant supplier. If it is established that this is a manufacturing defect, we will send new wallpaper as soon as possible. Should something unexpectedly have gone wrong during the application of the wallpaper (either by yourself or by a wallpaper professional), we will work with you to find a solution or make you a great offer to purchase the wallpaper again at a discount.
Retention of title (only valid for business customers of KEK Amsterdam)
KEK Amsterdam remains the owner of the delivered products until full payment of the invoice has been made by the retailer or distributor. In the event of non-payment within the regular payment term of 30 days, KEK Amsterdam reserves the right to reclaim the delivered goods at any time. In the event of the bankruptcy of the relevant retailer or distributor, all delivered products will fall outside the bankruptcy estate and are therefore also reclaimable by KEK Amsterdam at any time.
